Artists' Project
by Jake & Dinos Chapman

On view at Kamel Mennour , Paris until 26 November are a series of gravure etchings by Jake & Dinos Chapman, part of an ongoing project, "The Prints of Human Kindness".

The exhibition "Back to the End of the Beginning of the End Again", is based around the 2004 East London warehouse fire that destroyed countless artworks—including the Chapman's own sculpture Hell (1999-2000) — the show being a direct response to the work that was destroyed.

Artists' Project
by Paula Rego

Working with Paula since 1998 on both etching and lithographic projects, we have been able to see how much the processes and techniques of printmaking underpins her overall practice.

Combining Paula's familiar etched outlines with tonal gradations of aquatint and layers of gold ink, this new work, 'Rumpelstiltskin', came about when Paula asked Nicolas Serota, Director of Tate, to name his favorite fairy tale.

The resulting edition was later donated by the artist to the Tate Gallery

Grayson Perry

"The beast still lurks, but he's very well-behaved" - Grayson Perry

Animal Spirit is the fourth project by Grayson Perry printed by Paupers Press and published by Paragon Press.

This large-scale woodcut and a smaller etched version were inspired by his conversations with bankers and stockbrokers for the final episode of his Channel 4 series, All Man, exploring masculinity in the 21st century.

Publication
The Chapman Brothers

The Chapman Brothers' collaboration with Paupers Press dates back to the second half of the 1990s, with "Am Anfang Kommen II & III" being the third publication Paupers Press have released by Jake & Dinos.

Using the richly tonal method of copperplate heliogravure etching, in Am Anfang Kommen II & III the Chapman Brothers have constructed a discontinuous scene from densely interwoven and overlaid image fragments.

Often beginning with illustrations from children's colouring books and dot-to-dot books, these etching share a suggestion of a normative, safe modeling of reality for unformed minds with a twist.

Am Anfang Kommen II & III will be exhibited by Paupers at the IFPDA Print Fair in New York in November 2016.
